The recipe behind Griddly comes from a small-town restaurant in Spirit Lake, Idaho, where our grandparents served pancakes that became a local favorite. It was a closely held family recipe, loved for its rich flavor and, more importantly, its uniquely hearty, satisfying texture.

After the restaurant closed, the recipe became something we couldn’t quite recreate until it was finally passed down to us just before starting this business. The first batch took us right back, and that’s when we knew it was time to bring these pancakes to life beyond our kitchen — just like our grandparents did before us.

We spent months transforming that original recipe into a dry mix that could deliver the same richness, texture, and flavor. Our goal was to make it simple, consistent, and easy to use without losing what made it special. After much experimentation, we found the perfect formula — our Griddly Classic.

From the beginning, we knew Griddly had to be more than just one mix. We started with two timeless favorites: Chocolate Chip and Blueberry, each crafted to be just as filling and flavorful as the original.
